Gathering Materials

Hi Ashes and or forum participants

I was curious as i have only just come across this game and i was wondering if the game would have elements of gathering resources and materials. For example (i know this games is nothing like ashes but....) albion online where you can mine ore and cut down trees which you can then use these materials you gather to craft gear and weapons etc or Riders of Icarus where you can gather plants to make potions etc

Apart from that we don't exactly know how in-depth the gathering system will be, but we do know about these
<ul>Havesting</ul>
<ul>Gathering</ul>
<ul>Mining</ul>
<ul>Fishing</ul>


But Steven has the impression that gathering will be a big part of ashes.

I can not put much to Freddy's answer, but there will be breeding as well based on the developer's information.

if you check out the video about the node system they released earlier this week you will see that the char there is mining an ore so i dont think you will be disappointed in terms of gathering etc :-)
