How will reports be handled?

I think something we vastly overlook and never think about is the censorship coming from these developers. Maybe this topic has been broached before, but if so, i haven't spent the time searching it out. If that makes this post redundant, sorry for that. Feel free to skip on by and engage in a fresher post.
I have serious concerns how in game reports will be handled by this dev team after the fiasco of discord moderation. Maybe for most of you this is not a make or break for this game, but for myself, this is one of the most important topics regarding this game. We have all been on wow and watched guilds and discord organize mass reports to trigger bans on people for no reason. We have all watched people be reported for talking about topics unrelated to the game while other topics unrelated to the game are permissible.
So my question is this: Is this game going to have an automated report / review function like wow? Or, will there be a team on staff to review said reports? Will their be punishments for falsely reporting someone, or organizing mass reports on people? Are people going to be banned for talking about lets say real world politics civilly in chat? If so, are you going to keep that same energy when people talk about the Superbowl or soccer finals in chat? Are we going to get perma-banned like league does for telling someone they suck? Are we going to be cancelled in real life for telling someone learn 2 [insert whatever here]?
It seems to me that people come into games for many reasons. Whether that is to discuss something going on in the real world, to get lost in Verra, to have a session with the boys, etc. Telling people they cant pursue whatever path they want in game verbally, as long as its civil, seems like a losing proposition to me. Personally, its one that will make me uninstall this game and cancel sub faster than your concurrent counter can tick down. I personally do my best to avoid financial interactions with companies that do not respect freedom of speech within the bounds of the law. There is an easy solution to stop seeing conversations in game that you do not want to see. Ones that do not stomp on another paying members use of the game. Why do people think because they want to come into a game to escape reality that super-cedes the want of someone else to come into game to discuss something in reality?
If i could get some clarification from an ashes employee that would be greatly appreciated.
