None USA support

I am wondering how support to players will look like for none USA players in Alpha and later on.

My experience, and I have been in a few games and even test periods, is that it focus mainly on UsA players. Let me explain.

When EU, Africa or Asia players go play mostly, the USA company and most usa players are sleeping.
Then the game will go into downtime for fixes….reducing the play time for none USA players alot.
Also when they have an issue that realy needs a GM or Dev to look into…they have to wait till they are back in office after a good night sleep and finished the coffee. By then the player is already sleeping and at best get an email telling “we are aware of the issue and current work on a way to fix it”

So….how is this game in test mode and later on going to hand none USA players, and they be the major part of the players, the same level off support like they hand to USA players

See, the problem is that you are looking at this as a game to play, rather than a product to test.

Playing on a US server from outside the US will provide valuable feedback on how the game handles high latency, which is critical for the development team to understand performance across different regions. Skills that rely on precise timing, especially fast, reactive ones like those involving daggers or wands, can be significantly affected by high ping. For example, in the MMO Tera, faster latency resulted in players being able to spam attacks more quickly, giving them a noticeable advantage in combat. Testing from different locations will help ensure that no class or playstyle becomes unfairly overpowered due to latency disparities.

Moreover, any feedback you provide will be reviewed and compiled by the developers even while you're offline, thanks to the game's built-in telemetry data. This means that your contributions are always valuable, even if you're not actively playing during the developers' working hours. The only aspects you may miss are during server stress tests, when they intentionally push the game's limits to identify breaking points.

Aside from those rare cases, your testing experience should be relatively seamless and provide crucial insights for the game's overall development, ensuring a smoother experience for players around the world. Your involvement from a non-US location offers unique data that can help make the game more balanced and accessible to a global audience.

There will be both NA and EU servers for Alpha 2 testing. When looking at the downtimes during current Pre Alpha 2 Spot Testing, those were usually happening during EU nighttime. This schedule may or may not carry over to Alpha 2.

Community Managers have also started working in a shift system, resulting in at least one CM being online at all times. This schedule will probably stay for a bit as we head into Alpha 2.

However, please understand that Alpha 2 is still a testing phase and providing excellent player support is not what the first phase of Alpha 2 is about. Priorities will be about stability and scalability of the systems.

As we head closer to launch, you can expect dedicated EU community managers. Besides that, you always have the option to reach out to support, and they'll get back to via email :)

pre alpha 2 players have said that ping is really good for those not based in the US and playing on NA, one was getting 25ms in the pre alpha 2 server from new zealand. this number will go up once A2 open up but its still alot better than 95% of other games
