For those of us starting on November 8th

This question is for the Intrepid team.
Hey Intrepid team, first off thanks for making this amazing game!
So since Alpha 2 is starting on October 25th and a lot of us won't be able to play until November 8th I wanted to ask for those of us starting in November if we could at least log into the character creator and play around with the customizations and save our characters so we will be ready to go on November 8th?

    Given how long the testing period is going to be and that there will likely be wipes between tests I don't see the urgency of getting access to the Character Creator in advance.

    Inbetween tests while you're not participating i'm sure you'll have plenty of time to spend there.

    Additionally, the CC isn't meant to have a ton of depth at the moment from what I've heard, it doesn't seem that it's progressed so much from the showcase.

    It‘s more testing than playing and there will be some character wipes until release, so more than enough time to make your dwarf beautiful. >:)

    They've stated the character creation isnt at a place where they want it to be and thus are no longer doing the character creation b4 alpha. They intend to release it later down the road when it's fully functional. So to this question - that would also be a no.

    From all that has been said since the lifting of the NDA - the character creator is not in a stage where the in depth character designing is possible. Furthermore, even if it were, it seems that wipes are still quite frequent so that putting in extended amounts of time at this stage would be a waste.

    Also, because the Character Creator is not finalized nor 'stable' in terms of which features and values correspond to which appearances, it means that when you reload a saved customization, it does not come out the same.

    Until the Character Creator is much closer to the slice/snapshot/whatever they showed back then, there's very little benefit to any early availability for it unless they don't intend to change it again.

    Looking at it a few moments ago, I think they're going to give it another pass or two at least.

    Don't think that will be the case, we probably can download the game before the 8th but not be able to log in.
