Special content

Are we going to see some Special content, meaning it is only for some players like in Shangri-La Frontier Season anime
where player unlock something special
That's one of the things I'm hoping to see in newer MMOS!!!!

I don't like when Content, or Items, are exclusive to a single player (Legendaries are ok because lore).

But I somewhat like the idea of things that are absolutely designed for one specific player or player type, and then available to everyone.

If the quality is good enough (if it's a cosmetic) then it's a chance for sales while also rewarding specific community members. If it's an event or special 'ability', I think it can be really specific to a person or group without necessarily being exclusive.

This also resolves the problem of 'things that appeal to one person a lot but are also filling a niche that appeal to many others'. If the Omeda studios Visuals Team had made a 'White Mage' skin for Sevarog instead of the 'Angelic' one (this could probably be somewhat legal) then it would be even more 'targeted to me', but giving 'only me' that skin would be unnecessary, and then it would seem to be duplication if they made another 'White Robe+Gold' skin of the same character for 'everyone else'.

The same applies in Throne and Liberty, I'm deeply thankful that their equivalent 'White Robed Sevarog-style' cosmetic is available to everyone, to get and recolor however they like (still working on getting mine to look like Grand Oracle Sev). Because even though it's very similar, you can easily think of the two as independent, and people who know nothing about Predecessor can still enjoy the cosmetic.

Even if you go as far as SFV did and let champions/top players/guild leaders directly submit designs for costumes or 'content' or whatever, I would still prefer to make it moreso 'limited' in some way ($_$) than 'exclusive'.

Great designs are often archetypal, so I hope that newer MMOs don't go down this exclusivity route unnecessarily.
