For PVP, why wouldn't you just run......

After reading the bard abilities, why not run a full group of bards. Mobility. Aoe dps, shields and heals. Constant kiting. Maybe swap in a cleric just for rezing.

In an owpvp mmo, in which there arent simplistic objectives, in other words there is:
Pvp
Pve
Gathering
Guild war
you cant forgo the benefits of the other classes.
And even in a siege environment, in which ranged/melee, nuke/aoe tactics are more pronounced, it would be a waste to group up all your bards....
i dont think they do but u could have 1 of each buff perma running i guess
Add in snares and stuns from 8 bards locking other players down would work methinks. Bards cannot heal, CC or dps better than other specialty classes 1v1 but as an 8 man pack the combination of abilities could be enough to overwhelm their enemies.
Yes, bards can shield and have sustain but once one is rooted - he's down.
8Bard group will not be more than an inconvenience for any type of mixed group.
what if the other group has two healers? Then you probably won’t burst the other healer at all.
You won’t CC the whole group either, because they won’t stand in a line in front of you, they will be spread out.
General rule of thumb, in a more or less balanced game, a party of the same class will always fail against well rounded party.
The title of the thread literally says pvp. Why would you be holding mob aggro? You can literally out kite the enemy if there are mobs involved, forcing the other player to get 3rd partied by the mob. Unless of course they were running a bard too.
