`Caveat - The alpha had many bugs today and needs loads of polish

Playing today was a blast, the group combat was fun, the world design direction is engaging, I am extremely excited to to test this game over the next few years, I had heard so many statements saying I need to turn down my enthusiasm for this Alpha, but playing it today was highly enjoyable, your vision for the game is clear and while its afar cry from a real game right now it still feels soooooo much better than I expected.

So thank you for all the hard work. I appreciate it. I know the squad I played with did as well.

Definelty has a solid ground work, of course some server issues but other than that u can see some real potential.
the dismounted when moving mount bug was a interesting one at times :P they should give a mount an ejecter seat ability in the future that just makes u fly into the air :p lol

really good base to start from, I hope the world starts to come to life more though. It just feels like any other MMO world currently with static mobs that just stand around and wait for the player to walk too close. No other MMO has really done a good job with this so I'm hoping AoC can be the first.

I would also like to see the removal of hold for basic attack in action mode, or at least make us click and add some depth with timing for "optimal" combos.

Definitely had a lot of fun as well! Unfortunately, none from my community has access to A2 except for me; but I had a surprisingly good time with pugs as I went.

Overall, I was beyond pleasantly surprised at how smooth (and stable!) things felt overall - small hiccups aside.

This is the most solid Alpha I've been a part of, impressively good.

I mucked up my keybinds and then they bugged out so I can't fix it... So I can only make right turns which kinda sucks

Same happened to me, SirChancelot. I could only strafe right for about 5 minutes. Resetting keybinds to default will fix it.

(But be sure to report it as a bug nonetheless …)

It won't really start to feel different until we're developing the nodes, and getting into those Macro things that sets Ashes apart.

That said, for an Alpha... 'feels like any other MMO world' is a good starting point to improve from. :D
