Forever queue [1] bug

When joining the server, it will forever say Position in queue: [1]

Currently joining Vyra. Once, I clicked cancel and then play again, it updated to show the actual number, but then went right back to [1] and stays there.

    Queue is not functioning correctly. It is bouncing me around. 120 to 20 to 104 to 3 to 98 to 15 to 76, etc.

    Bug Reproduction Steps:
    Log into Character from character select.

    Expected Result
    No queue or that the queue counts down (never up).

    Bug Report - Actual Result
    No errors. No solutions.

    So, like the fool I am, I waited until 6 minutes after to try to log into A2. Of course, I was greeted with the queue, but it's not acting like a queue should. I keep jumping all over the place, from 32 to 637 and then to 276, only to jump back to 460. This queue isn't queuing correctly :(

    Same. Finally down to around position 65, then it drops to position 1, then it goes back up to the 30s, then down to 1, then back up to the 60s. Been going on for the last 20min or so. It certainly has come down from the original 300+ though :)

    Same. Mostly it keeps the higher value, but occasionally it'll drop off 100 or so in line.

    I keep seeing the queue go up and then it will say my position is [1] then it will randomly jump to like 293 then to like 431 sporadically.

    I was happy to get "some" time to experience Ashes yesterday. Today I am experiencing the ad-nausium que that jumps from 1 to 213. hmmmph

    I wonder if this is because they only listed to 3 digits, which tells us we're number 1094 by going from [1] to [94].

    I waited for a while until it got down to "Position in queue: [1]". It got stuck at 1. I waited for 5-10 minutes before hitting cancel

    I was at 1 for 20 minutes then it went to 344 after counting down again I've been back at 1 for about 15 minutes now.

    Was in at launch had to go afk for to long was booted back to character select. Was like 300 somthing then turned into 1 and is staying there with no update (I think im still in the big que but the visual is stuck at 1)

    likewise: Queue bounces around and does not drop sequentially, makes it hard to know where you really are in the queue...

    Same. I was stuck at 1 for a long time, like 30 minutes, so I figured it was broken. I decided to requeue. Now I've been bounding around between anywhere from 60 to 400. At this point I've been trying to log in for about 2 hours.

    Queue jumps all over for me. One moment it is 37, the next it's 581. Up down, up down over and over again.

    Update: I was in queue for 2.5 hours, decided to cancel out and retry. Countdown started quasi-working after that, went from [360] to [1] within about 20 minutes. Loaded in, then got kicked out after 45 seconds. Good times!

    Same here. Only thing I can think of is my admittedly inconsistent internet. Tried on the other US realms to the same effect

    I have replicated this issue across all the US realms, unable to log in so far. Unsure if it is the same for EU but dont want to jump out of queue

    Waited for 3 hours then it bounced me from queue... going back into it and I'm bounding back up to the 500's...

    My queue started out at [15] 3 hours ago.
    It has has been bouncing me between [1] and higher number, which is a visual bug, but the larger number has reduced at a slower and slower pace.
    I've now been stuck at [1]/[2] for over an hour on Shol(EU)

    Edit: A couple of my friends have managed to log into the server, without getting in queue, even though it's their first login. So they're logging in at the portal, without getting put in queue.
    So there is definitely some kind of issue, which wasn't there during the stress test, as some people are stuck, and other don't get put into queue at all, even though they're logging into the same area.

    Queue seem infinite.
