Paid $250 to sit in a queue that says, "Servers are full, waiting to join. Position in queue [1]."

Feels bad to pay all that money and cannot even get passed queue. It's halfway through saturday and I have sat in queue for 6 hours last night. Upon 2 am I was able to play for about 30m before falling asleep.

Now it is saturday and I have sat in queue for 2h and haven't gotten in.

If you "paid 250$" to play the game in alpha state, then you invested your money for the wrong reason.

I *donated* 250$ to IPS, because I believe in Steven and his team, or in the most sceptical perspective; I paid a ton of $ for very expensive, exclusive skins. And in return they allow me to *assist them in making the game.*

That does not mean I am going to play a play-ready demo for them, that means I might spend an entire day in queue just to help them sort their servers out under pressure. That I might lose a character that I spent a lot of time on because a server wipe is necessary. That everything I work for ingame might be gone within a moment's notice as they figure out how to get the game to work properly in practice.

I am baffled by the amount of people sinking hundreds of dollars into a project without having the slightest clue what they actually gave their money for.

I spent more than 4 hours today in queue, I spent more than 5 hours today in the discord text channels (and forums) trying to assist IPS in any way I can. About 3 hours total ingame; about 1 hour of that was "proper" gameplay and 2 hours was spent trying to gather data with a character that fell through the ground and got stuck, a character that died and could not be respawned, first person mode, unbelievable lag and a bunch of other unplayable experiences. And why is that? Nothing I do ingame is going to matter at launch anyway; unless it assists IPS in making a working game. And that is all I aim to do.

Grinding, making personal progress and all that... that is something for launch. Now, the only goal for us testers should be to give IPS the data they need to make that launch as smooth and awesome as possible.

Try a different realm. I had the same issue, swapped realms and got right in.
