Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

    Not only the letters, all the HUD/interface design is outdated and requires more love and work

    Completely agree. I need the font to be a different style of font that's more easily readable but also much larger, but I need the UI windows to be smaller. On a 1080p resolution making the UI windows larger takes up the entire screen. Most MMO's I have plenty of screenspace but here there's so many UI elements and they're so oddly large even when I try to make them smaller that I feel like I can't see much. Really hoping they can edit the UI down while increasing the text size and making it more readable.

    GMSteven answered this when ask during his interview with PireateSoftware. Currently only thing you can do is to increase scale of ui, but it make everything on screen so large. He said an fix should be coming but other things currently have higher priority.

    A: I just had a conversation with our UI team about that last week. Obviously, you can press the backslash button to scale individual UI elements, but of course, that also scales the graphical components as well. There is an intention to provide the feature to scale the font in the future, but when that comes online, it's probably not until, I'd say, phase 3.

    For now, I had a sweeping change. I'm not sure if it's in this build or if it's down in our QA branch and will come up next week, but it will just overall increase the font size across the board."

    Steven mentioned this in either the live stream BEFORE the Alpha II went live or in the interview on Pirate Software with Thor. They're fully aware of the size of the font and it's "scaleability" with the other UI segments such as the minimap. I don't want a gigantic minimap, I just need to be able to read the text. It's on the list of priorities, and honestly, last Sunday/Monday, after an update I thought it WAS larger, but maybe I'm crazy. I didn't look again for the option.
    The dev who created the UI font text just was at the eye doctor because he couldn't figure out why his eyes were bleeding from trying to read the screen.

    I'm just here to agree that the text size is completely unreadable to me. I would LOVE to be able to scale *just* the font size, rather than the whole element.

    I can’t read anything on my screen cause if my slightly old eyes :-)

    My minimap and map do NOT show players triangles. I have to toggle the group-player button (eyeball) of and on several times to see glimpses of them.

    As this is Alpha testing, I can overlook many things like mobs floating in the air, drowning on dry land, pathing errors, warping or falling through the ground etc. But Steven himself, who also wears glasses. is basically disses on everyone with poor eyesight by denying them the ability to socialize with everyone with a chat window with micro text size that can't be changed, I take issue with that.

    Fount is important but the cursor is also hard to see in combat. So many colors it often gets lost. My eye are not what they used to be. Options for color and size would be epic as well.

    I have glasses that (are supposed to) give me 20/20 and it's still to small for me
