CRITICAL - Character bricked - Cannot log into character

BUG: !!!!!! FIX POSTED IN LAST UPDATE ON BUTTOM!!!!!

huge issue, really need some help on this: my game keeps crashing but only when I log into my main. I was just east of the starting area, and then started to rubberband heavily (basically couldnt move closer), then when I turned around and moved back towards the eastern forest, I could move again. I tried then to relog, and I've been crashing ever since. If I make an alt character it logs in with no issue. I tried doing that and then log back into my main, but it just crashes when loading the game to 1 %. There was also 3 crashes before making the alt, where it would crash at 75% loading screen. I've tried repairing the client, and restarting my pc. I'm currently trying to reinstall the whole game, but please let me know in the meantime if this can be fixed, else thats 30 hours progress up in smoke for me 😅 😅

another guildmate is experiencing same issue, and can confirm from discord talks that we are more people experiencing this.
For reference I have an NVIDIA 3080

After reinstalling the game, the issue persists.
I am now 100% sure that it crashes at 75% every time, but if I log into an alt, and then log back into main, then it crashes at 1%, but after one try its back to crashing at 75%.
Also even after turning on crash reports I still dont get any errors or reports when the crash happens.
UPDATE:
I have heard from several people with the same issue that theirs just suddenly worked a few hours later, even though they seemingly didnt do anything new. This is still not the case for me 5 hours into the problem.. Still need a fix. I will report immediately if it starts working.
UPDATE: FIX FOUND
The fix turned out to be the same as for the login loop even though they didn't seem related.
So what you do is:
1: make an alt char on same realm
2: chose alt char and press play
3: Then immediately when able click your main character and spam click where the play button is.
4: this may take a few tries if you're not fast enough try again. It always ends up working. You may have to repeat it next time you have to login to the character, but usually it works as normal when server restarts.
This seems to fix different variations of issues where you cannot log into your character. I have it confirmed from experience as well as multiple people on official discord, and irl friends.
Please prioritize this..

After another try I could log in. But I can still see my character in game at the same spot

Starting around 5 pm on Sunday 11/3, I ran into an invisible wall when trying to enter Winstead from Lionhold. Heavy rubber banding when trying to push through the wall. I could not get around the wall as it seemed to extend indefinitely, so I backtracked and tried to go West instead, only to encounter another invisible wall just west of where the Goblins spawn in northern Lionhold. I tried logging out to see if that would fix it, but then I could no longer log into my character.
All attempts to log into Glorp resulted in the game crashing without any error message. Sometimes it would crash in a second or two, sometimes it would take almost a minute, sometimes it would get to 15% or 75%, but most of the time I would just see a screen with heavy artifacting instead of an actual loading screen. Repairing, reinstalling, and clearing cache did not change the behavior.
I can make new characters without an issue and travel past the points where my previous character encountered an invisible wall. I was also able to see my previous character floating where I logged out in Lionhold. Would post a screenshot, but I don't have it at the time of writing this. Will update with screenshots later if I can.
If my character isn't already fixed from the week of downtime, I will try the fix Murgo provided when the servers are live again on Friday 11/8. Regardless, I will provide an update if it was resolved or not.
