Feedback Suggestion: Crafting Times

I love crafting in any game that I participate in and excited to see where the alpha progresses. As gamers yourselves, please consider the risk versus benefit of crafting timers and what the intention of making players wait excessive times ingame. Batch crafting taking an hour? What is the point unless this could be "scheduled" in game and allow you to go adventure or raid, etc. Watching a progress bar for an hour will turn A LOT of crafters off. But hey... it's alpha... the game already is awesome (well done!!) and excited to be a part of the solution instead of the problem. Thanks guys for what you do.

Yes there is NO WAY doing processing should take 1 min, 15 seconds tops. To process 60 stone would be an hour. Also where is the combine all key. So when I want to process 60 stone that is in my inventory I do not have to click combine 60 times....

If you are talking about processing, and it sounds like you are, then it is in fact a scheduled thing, and you can in fact leave it and come back to collect later.

Its at the top of the screen on the right hand side, just below the rarity. You can process in batches of 1, 5, 10, and 25.

Thanks for this Taiisien. being able to schedule batch jobs of 25 makes a bit more sense. Will try that next weekend if the login server ever comes back up =)

i dont mind the timers i just wish there was a menu somewhere where i can see where and how long i have processing taking place. Atm i wack 25 on to craft and go do other things then forget what the heck i was doing until i go back to bench to craft more and like o shit i already had 25 finished on here hahaha

Also in regard to processing timers my understanding is you can do more batches processing at a time on the nodes off with the upgraded building plots once the mayor builds a building on them for your craft could of swworn u can 3 sets at a time then but no building atleast on my node to comfirm this just yet

Gathering, processing and crafting are definite time sinks. Got to have a market to make them viable. Assume it’s all a giant pyramid scheme.

I really like the fact that you don't need to be present to process or craft items, so even if it takes a long time, you can go do something else.

I personally would rather it takes 60 minutes and I can go do something else (even go afk) than having to pay attention and be unable to do anything else for 30 minutes.

Processing times are designed to keep resources scare and reduce the flood of gathering on the market.
Only reason it sucks right now is all trades have to be negotiated manually (no player stalls)
Gatherers should be making connections with a couple of processors to spread out the processing load.
