Feedback on Regional and Local Map Navigation

Background:
While exploring the game world and attempting to locate specific points of interest, I've encountered challenges differentiating between the regional and local map views. During gameplay, my group of A1 testers mentioned a location—Briarmoor Farms near Winstead. However, navigating to this spot was more complex than expected due to the layered map structure.
Issue Experienced:
Initially, I wasn’t aware of the map's two-layered system (regional vs. local). I expected all locations to appear on a single map layer. This led to confusion, as I couldn’t find certain landmarks (like Emberspring in Briarmoor Farms) until my team clarified the need to zoom in and out to toggle between map layers. This distinction—shown only in small text at the bottom—could be easily overlooked by players, especially newcomers.
Suggested Improvements:
To enhance usability, especially for those unfamiliar with the system, a clickable layer option on the side could allow players to switch between regional and local views more intuitively. Integrating both views into one screen or making the toggle more prominent could reduce confusion and improve map accessibility.

I feel like there should be a manual selection option for viewing the local maps vs world map, not just shunting players into the world map automatically.
