A QoL I would very much like to see soon.

Yes, I understand this is the server stability phase of the alpha, thank you. With that said I would very much like it when you are in action camera that when you open up your inventory, or any menu really, that it temporarily switches back to tab target so you have cursor and aren't basic attacking when you click your mouse when trying to select something.
It's a relatively minor thing, but it really does get slightly annoying when you have to hit "Z" so many times through a session. What are ya'lls thoughts?

I'm sure exceptions could be made. But when im going into my inventory, character menu, or crafting station it would be nice to just have the cursor there and not be basic attacking when I click on something.
I was thinking it is a bug cursor is not showing up.
That's essentially 2 different things.
Open the inventory is an action which you cause by clicking "I"
Loot window is caused by someone looting an NPC.
So in my opinion both events should be treated different.
Loot window in Action mode should have a yes no option by a keybind:
- Yes = Need on item
- No = Pass or Greed (could depend on settings)
