Loot sharing in groups

After playing a day as healer, I realised that the melee classes were picking up all the glint, as my goal as the healer is to be as far away as possible from the combat, I never get to pick stuff up.... should this not be shared evenly within the group, since it's basically "money"?

    I do believe you can choose between multiple loot systems? As I've experienced it in party play, it mostly seemed to be taking turns looting and rolling for green rarity + items.

    I did at some point get into a group where we did not roll for rare drops though, they just got looted. Got a free two handed copper spellsword of blue rarity when I was in a 5man group. One of our other guys got two green gear pieces. This can potentially have been a bug, of course.

    This is in pretty much every MMO like this. Loot should be on a rotation per default and not "free for all"

    seems whoever was lead of the group swapped the loot system, by default its set to round robin which gives everyone a body before the first person gets to loot again obviously not every kill grants glint but thats rng for you and uncommon+ items are rolled for.
