Bug. Quest Heartwood Beat

In the quest Heartwood Beat where you need to gather the splinters from the Ancient Tree there was nothing at all to be seen for my character and for my bf he could see the splinter but couldn't interact with it even thought it was showing F for interaction. This happened in more of the places indicated on the map.
