Mounting up instant

If I call my horse I should instantly mount up. Not extra click on "F" for interact with your mount.
PS: I'd would also be nice if you mount follows you around a bit if you dismount it.

I like that you have to manually mount up, it's a PvP thing.
The problem I have is that the mount is slightly to far away.
What has that to do with PvP?
if you have instant call mount and instant mount up then anytime you are attacked you can just hit 1 button and run off instantly or if someone gets away from you , you could instant mount and catch up its silly.
the slight timer on it is so you weigh up letting them get further away while you mount / so you cant just insta run away
I did not say it should be instant! It's right now "cast 5 seconds" + "press F". And I think it should not be for the extra "press F".
You leave your mount on the ground, go farm some mobs, and if something comes up you can run to it and instant mount, the time involved is getting back to the mount.
Eventually you'll be sitting next to your mount when farming, and be happy you can instant mount when it's left out.
I played Albion I know what you mean.
EDIT: But does it disappear, because it did not even if I ran of some distance...
I would like to see mounts work just like in WoW or FFXIV, but with one major change: longer summoning cast time. Default like 5 to 10 seconds summoning time and maybe allow Animal Husbandry to decrease (and increase?) this value. I don't think that would make the game less immersive.
Just my two cents.
Animal husbandry goes right to top crafting profession with this
Na that's to quick. Imagine you see a pack of red players... you just mount up and run away...
AH is already going to be one of the top professions, even if my suggestion isn't introduced. Mounts, in general, will be incredible important - and I love it.
At the moment no, but can be killed.
One of the things I really enjoy about the current mount system is that your mount comes up right beside you when called, giving you the option to mount up immediately or wait as needed. I wouldn’t want it to be automatic, as that could be exploited in PvP. One enhancement I'd love to see with the mount system is a more immersive approach to the mount call feature, especially when the mount is within close range. Currently, if your mount is nearby, calling it requires two actions—one to despawn it and another to re-summon it to your side.
My suggestion is to allow the mount to path directly to the player if it’s within earshot, creating a realistic experience where the mount actively approaches without needing to be re-summoned. This would streamline the call mechanic and make mounting up feel smoother and more intuitive. For example, if you dismount temporarily, you could call your mount back to you without the immersion break of despawning and respawning.
To be fair,
with this cancerous Movement Speed of the Horses from the first Spot-Test Weekend -> i would be surprised if an ambushed Person can quickly enough get away from anyone. People can at least for a time chase the Horse with sprinting.
While their Stamina will deplete, they are even faster by a bit, than the Horse.

You have to remember that mounts will also have some skills they can use and that might even include some abilities that can damage or CC enemies. Because of this, I think it’s best that players don’t automatically appear on their mounts when summoned.
Just my opinion at least…
I agree to this.
