Hello all - I hope everyone is doing well.
First - I understand this is an alpha, but I think it would be nice to have a more impactful perk (at some point, doesn't have to be now or anytime soon) between the two that are available for the disengage skill tree ability. As for what kind of impactful perk to replace this one in particular, I do not know - I haven't thought that far yet for this post. Though I would like to have a discussion on it if anyone is willing
What? Something that has been plaguing my mind is a perk (I guess?) in the skill tree for the Ranger ability "Disengage" - Pretty much allows the user to use the Disengage ability to backwards jump to the sides, forward, or backwards depending on their keyboard input (W, A, S, D).
Why? I see the value in the perk (I guess, not sure what else to call it. If there is an official definition then I apologize) for new players to MMOs. But, using the disengage ability to go forward or to the sides is already achievable by just spinning the camera opposite to the direction you want move to - say I want to go forward to close the distance between a player, monster, NPC, or just to move forward, I can spin my camera in the opposite direction and press the key bind I have set for Disengage to move in that direction.
Anyway, if anyone sees this post - I hope you have a great day <(^_^)>

It's literally there. Or I am missing something.
What I want is a different and more impactful perk than Omnidirectional Disengage. Additionally, I am wanting to have a discussion with my fellow rangers and what they think of changing Omnidirectional Disengage.
Why? You can already do the same thing as Omnidirectional Disengage just by turning your camera in the opposite direction that you want to move toward (Turn your camera South to move North) and pressing the keybind you have assigned for disengage.
I know it's a free perk on the skill tree as well for rangers to pick, so It doesn't have any impact on skill points. Unless I am bugged and it's just free for me o....o.
Anyway, I hope that clears it up
it cost no skill point btw but it takes up a space for a potential new passive option :P
