tank's defensive stats can occasionally drop below zero

There is an issue where a tank's defensive stats can occasionally drop below zero. This seems to be related to the tank's aura, but the exact conditions that trigger this bug are unknown.
Expected Behavior: A tank's defensive stats should always provide a positive benefit, even when multiple effects are stacked.
Actual Behavior: In some instances, the combined effects of the tank's aura and other defensive abilities result in negative values for defensive stats.
