Ash’s combat end game: Elden Ring

Now I am just one nerd, desperate for a good MMO, but I think my opinion is pretty dang good. This also might already be everyone’s opinion, but either way I wanted to post.
Elden Ring Combat is currently the peak of what MMO combat should strive to be.
Physical combat is godly with both weight and impact. Weapons all have hit boxes and there’s a great level of skill expression. I think freedom of mobility needs to be increased and no finishers, but other than that it’s perfect.
Ranged combat is peak. Either an attack is an actual projectile with its own hit box, or it’s an attack you have to manually aim with its own hit box. The lock on feature gets it close to tab targeting, but still ads in possibly human error for more skill expression.
I’d love to hear thoughts below!

My thoughts are that if you make all ranged attacks as projectiles instead the tab target. You will crush the servers. Intrepid can either choose the 250vs250 they are aiming for or projectiles. They wont achieve both.
My other thought is that if you put 10 players vs 10 players in elden ring - the combat will suck. Since the combat is not balanced around group content there.
I also think Elden Ring melee physics with ash’s ability design would be fun in group combat scenarios.
also, every weapon and projectile in ashes has a hitbox, otherwise, you wouldn't even be able to hit the enemies. smh
* I would stop watching narc so much, it's almost as unhealthy as his pretended lifestyle
* Apples and oranges
* Elden Ring isn't an MMORPG, nor its combat could be achieved in a game with hundreds of players on screen
* ER combat is far from perfect, Chiv and Mount & Blade games are simply superior when it comes to the combat mechanics, but again apples and oranges.
* Elden Ring is not a shinning example of excellence. Its multiplayer barely works, its networking performance is a joke, and the game has a limit of maybe 6 players in a match. Without mods you cannot even stay in coop with friends without silly limitations, as the multiplayer session isn't permanent.
Blown past falling sands…
all the bosses and enemies react to your button inputs and they do it instantly that's the only thing that makes their games hard. Could you imagine your healers getting blasting with a stun mechanic the moment they start casting a heal just for the sake of making it harder.
Not sure how much that combat system could be translated into an MMO, especially since the stat system, mob intelligence and number of abilities differ greatly between these two games. What I do know however is that I personally don't want Ashes to try and clone Soulslike Combat, I don't see why that would make an MMORPG better.
So for me personally, this would be a "No".
