Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

Free gold for alpha testing

Would love to see free gold for new char during alpha to buy a set of gear right from the start. I didnt even bother keeping resources for crafting or dust. i just sold everything to get silver i needed for my level.

    This should only be done if they are testing raids and don't have enoughat the right level and gear to do it. Just my two cents.

    Isn't that what the PTR will be for? (Giving levels/ressources to test specific systems)

    This is an ALPHA ... there is plenty of time to test for economy etc. if they want people to test different classes and systems. why make it difficult to get there. from level 1-10 there is no need to make people scrap for silver to buy a set of armor/weapons at this point in the game. we are here to test the game mechanics and find bugs. Which a lot of people fail to understand... this is not a final game this is our PTR server! thats my point.

    no and A1 folks are testing the items, equipments, sets and all other things with gold. So that's taken care of on their end. While the masses does the economy. There will be a few wipes until Release and each wipe will gather data points on economy.

    I would guess that the lack of gold sources is because they want us to be grinding mobs, as that tests the servers the hardest. People running traveling to quests or gathering don't impact the servers nearly as much

    to be fair gold not hard to get if servers didnt crash :p i lost like about 20g from crashing while caravanning so far :P

    Found out they have done this already. When testing certain content there was a vendor you could buy gear that suited your play style.

    they do all that on PTR cause there trying not to wipe live Alpha 2 there only wiping basicly the forced to wipe. So yeah they cant give people free shit even when steven died earlier while corrupted with lvl 20 legendary gear he summoned them to a room and took it back off them :p not to mess with people character progression adding things to game that shouldnt be at that stage :pensive:

    Ya I saw the video. They are collecting data and we are the data pawns. I'm fine with it.
