Bullied Horse Kill

I would like to provide feedback on the corruption system regarding players killing horses. Recently, I had a situation where I was in town, and after calling my horse, a player came by and killed it instantly. I was unable to respond, as the player did not turn red or even purple, leaving me to run to rejoin my group.

I would like to suggest that the PVP corruption system mark the players purple if that player kills my horse I have the option to take defensive actions without going corrupt. It would seem fair.
