Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

Is broadband required now?

I didn't realize that broadband Internet would be required. There is no fiber optic cable here. Does that mean I can't use the Alpha 2 I've got? Will I be able to access the game at all?

    Each MMO does it different. Some let allot of thing be done client side. This also means less bandwidth for you is needed. This makes it easier to mess with the game. Some games do more server side. This gets costly for the game. I have not tested Ashes for this but I do because I will use cell data to play while camping. ESO used about 300gb an hour PvEing. 500ish when PvPing. I will check it out next time I play and get back to ya.

    well im on fixed wireless NBN in Australia and other than the server location the alpha test play-ability has improved...

    But if were talking dialup/adsl or mobile 4g then I don't think you'll be having a good time...
