Respawn points are too open and far away from node centers

While playing over this weekend's test I kept coming into the issue of the Embershrine (sorry if I forgot the exact name) is too far away from the node center or far too open in an area. I think this is a huge problem for developed nodes. For wilderness nodes or even crossroads, this might be fine, its a rough world out there so when you venture into the undeveloped areas you might get punished. But when the nodes are all the way up to village, I think its not great gameplay to have them so exposed/away from the town.
I'll give an examples to help share what I mean.
One time, when I died in Joeva and respawned at the joeva shrine at level 9. I was immediately attacked by a level 11* bear before my screen even loaded the area. Luckily I was able to run for my life and not die a second time incurring the xp debt and material drops again, but I can see players getting stuck in a loop like this, dying and respawning to something that is out of their league because the shrines are just out in the open, nothing to protect them, in a developed node.
At the same time the Joeva shrine is so far away from the town. Takes a few minutes on horse to get to the town with no roads really connecting them. That is a pain imo, the shrines at the village stage should be in the center of town, a safe place to respawn and recover.
I personally think that dying incurs a pretty high penalty already with xp debt and material drop, we don't need to punish people in a developed node by having bad respawn points too.
