Mage Passive Talents not Functioning

Hello, I'd like to start by saying thank you for creating a great game. I had the opportunity to play the weekend of 11/1-11/3 and I am very impressed and can't wait to see what's to come. While playing I finally landed on the mage class and managed to level to 10. There are a few things I have noticed that are not working properly or even at all.
1. Blink- The ability itself function great however the passive talent "Accelerative Blink" is not functioning. According to the tooltip after using blink the next fireball, frostbolt, or lightning strike cast within the next 3 secs is supposed to be instant however each time it merely channels the applicable spell (namely Frostbolt which is the one I was using at the time).
2. Cone of Cold- The ability functions well with some minor difficulty when casting on uneven terrain. However, The talent "Tempestuous Cone of Cold" doesn't function very often. The few times it did I wasn't able to recreate the action, it seems to only push back at random and very rarely.
3. AoE spells- I am referring to Magma Field and Hoarfrost. Both spells have the same problem wherein if the terrain isn't flat such as a flight of stairs, everything at the level it was cast and above is affected but anything below receives no damage. Turning it into more of a half circle area of effect.
4. Elemental Empowerment- Maybe I am missing something but I haven't found a real use for this skill. The ability to remove the current enchantment seems pointless since it automatically changes each time you use a different element and there seems to be no reason not to have one currently imbued. A better use in my opinion would be for it to "Hold" or even toggle "Hold/Remove" the current enchantment. This would enable the mage to hold onto the specific enchantment to create specific elemental status reactions and to buildup for spell combos.

Those are the most noticeable bugs or quirks of gameplay I have noticed thus far.
Thanks again, I'll be sure to add more to this if I notice anything else.

I noticed some similar issues on the mage.

    - Mage Talent Accelerative blink does not work. After a blink, fireball should be instant cast and it's not.
    - Mage Talent Aftershock does not work. Using fireball to stagger an enemy, chain lighting should then double hit, and it does not.
    - The pushback on Mage Talent tempestous cone of cold is very inconsistent. It does not always push enemies backwards.

I was getting the double hit on aftershock when using on mobs in the 15-20 range.

ooo good to know that i may run into these issues since i didnt really test those passives/wasnt high enough level for lightning one

and i saw in the other post same thoughts on the elemental empowerment being pointless, my only thought i posted was maybe it was for pvp since it removes the glow your weapon would have if you trying to hide

Prismatic beam needs a lot of work. If you are on some uneven terrain, the spell just doesn’t work well as it always comes out perpendicular to your character and in many cases ends up not being useful at all if the mobs are a bit higher or lower than you.

Also a minor thing but If you rotate your camera just right you can see that it’s a 2D flat effect haha. I know it’s alpha and effects will likely get more passes but it definitely doesn’t look good compared to other effects.

Just dinged lvl 18 on my mage today and decided to get the passive "Fuse" which should increase the burning status effect by 50% on "shocked" enemies. But unfortunately, it doesn't seem to make a difference.. didn't notice the burn dmg go up at all on shocked opponents. Tried several times with the passive and without. Dmg just stayed the same.

I think it works for what it needs to, currently I use it rarely when I need to remove lightning element so that it doesnt arc to random creatures, or to clear element before doing something like prismatic beam mana regen (solo). Its also great as a lead-into before casting slumber, to make sure they dont get a burn or another effect that would wake them up.
