Suggestion - In regards to Corruption removal

I do want the risk/reward and understand there must be steep consequence to prevent massive griefing.

The Dampening is fine, and I also agree prevent the cheesing of having guildies flag on you and kill you to get rid of the red.

However what feels extremely bad is trying to grind mobs to remove the red is severely too much.


What I propose is - each time you kill an innocent, you get a corruption debt. This corruption debt is 1% of your current level experience needed to level up.

So let's assume you're level 20 and to hit level 21, you need 1,500,000.
When you die, you go into 2% xp debt which is 30,000
Therefor corruption debt is 15,000xp per kill.

Let's be honest here, at level 20, you're a red, you're not gonna exactly be able to Solo things to grind that off. Most mobs at this stage now is not soloable. So you're gonna need to find a group, or have a guildie assist you. This is DOWNTIME.
During this downtime, eventually you'll have bounty hunters coming for you as well as other level 20+ white names willing to flag on you.
More importantly, those who are level 20+ already knows how it feels to die at level 20 and grind that 30k debt off. So that adds to the timer after going red. If you find 1% too low, then 2%, the same as dying. Play around and fine tune it.

But currently, going red and grinding that off from 1 kill is extremely long and feels atrocious. Or set a arbitrary timer. Every innocent kill = 30 min corruption. If that means they just gonna hide somewhere and afk, so be it. They are wasting time hiding and not playing if they wish to go that route. I'd prefer to kill and incur XP debt to grind off with guildies and create that tension of danger and being hunted out in the wild, and not going to a remote obscure location to hide.
