• a new game, with a plethora of ideas of what a game really should have to enjoy time gaming. The open world, the classes, the environment that changes, and reacts to what is going on around the nodes.... really gets the ideas and mind going what is in store for us as gamers venture out into the world....
• I'm waiting for that cunning political game play between main guilds of some node, how some spies will infiltrate guilds/competing nodes and the full throttling wars and sieges between cities. Also how different types of nodes will turn out and evolve (Military, Scientific, Economy and Divine) and how their defence and political (even economy?) systems varies from each other plus the story that will reveal itself by the development of nodes.

I wish the devs will remain as satisfyingly active as they've been for now for the whole life time of this game. Please Intrepid Studios, produce quality content and stay loyal to your fans. I really wish this project will turn out to be something successful.
• Well said VelvetBeacon!

I can't wait to see what true Sandboxmode can create....
Anyone played Neverwinter Dungeons and Dragons? I like the possibility to create my own content, even tho it was heavily restricted.
• I am excited to see how the node system works and what is will actually bring to the game. I am also curious about the PVP and how it will work.

I'm currently mostly just excited for a new MMO that shows potential. I am currently following Chronicles of Elyria but the fact that it does not have casters in the game REALLY REALLY turns me off. I always play mages in every game I play and even though the game looks promising I'd rather play a MMO that has magic.
• The dynamic world. Logging in and not knowing what's going to happen. Right now in most any mmo you log-in and know exactly what's going to occur. There's really no mystery. Ashes seems built to allow all kinds of unforeseen events to occur at any given time. I'm really looking forward to being surprised, shocked, even perhaps annoyed from time to time. I get bored of monotony quite easily, so the prospect not not knowing what's going to happen is very appealing.
• As stated the dynamic changing game play from every time you log in. Also, I'm really excited to be able to cut out a piece of land for myself on the outskirts of a node. That has never really been something that has interested me, but for once I feel like someone is truly trying to create an alternate universe for us to play on and the idea of making a piece of it my home really interests me.

One of the biggest things is the caravan system. Owpvp is such an important thing to me, but it's normally regulated to PKing just for pking, or pking for control on a world boss/guild wars/etc. For the first time I'm seeing a chance at a system that actually makes owpvp a vital part of the gameplay experience that not only effects a nodes progression, but also the economy.

It creates an actual place on the world for you, and is not just a way to gain infamy. Will you contribute in a way that helps economies grow and flourish by protecting caravans? Or will you be a bandit attacking caravans to benefit your personal and individual groups experience? Just another layer that adds to the evolving world.
• I think it's fairly unanimous: The node system is the star feature of this game. What we have been shown thus far has been amazing and I can hardly wait to see what is revealed next! :-)

Thank you, Steven Sharif and the rest of the team!!

I would like to see how far this will actually go. I can see that players who don't play often or log in every day, seeing major changes when they log in, not sure if we can say the same for players who play everyday for long periods of time.
• Yea the dynamic world and the immersion that comes with it is pretty exciting....
But I was told that the change is not too sudden....
Developing a node from a few tents to a castle will most likely take a long time like, lets guess, 2 months or even longer?
The destruction will be partial (level wise) after a succesful attack. Maybe bigger on non military nodes. And it will have a cooldown on when to be attack-able again... Maybe 24hours? or even a week?
So there will be noticeable changes every day but most likely it will be at a realistic pace.

If u liked my thoughts, maybe you wanna check out this post of mine:

Please share your thoughts and share the post, so the developers are more likely to have a look. This way the game is more likely to develop in the communities favor.
Thanks a lot!
• the idea of the pve being what builds things up and the pvp as the catalyst for change is a really cool idea too. I hope the leveling system will be as good as I think it might. I hate the same grind over and over. it will be nice to change it up and lvl by doing many many things.
• I'm looking forward to playing a modern mmo that rewards social group and guild play. Seriously when was the last time we had a mmo that actually felt like a multi player game? Don't get me wrong as someone who has a full time job and can't always be on for hours solo activities are great as well but the most rewarding things should require a group and to actually work as a team with that group
• I'm most intrigued so far by the possibilities of a reactive environment (as many others have said). Not so much that I, personally, need to alter the environment, but the idea of it being organic and changing based on player actions gives me hope for a breakthrough in the fatigue that the neverending wheel of static worlds has brought.

Unless there's pie. If there's pie than that's what I'm most excited about.
• Literally just how possible things are in this game. The fact that it appears no two players will have to play the same way.
• i like the most atm that you are not forced into any direction u can play pve u can play pvp but you can also progress by crafting and best part you can be a merchandiser and buy and sell goods all awesome paths to be played
• To be honest the reactive world isn't my main but a secondary reason as to why I am playing this game as Elite already offers that to me. What I am most excited about if crafting being something like it should be, and that is a profession that you get sought after for your skill and abilities as a crafter. I also hope taming and breeding is just as rewarding as crafting is because I have always felt that MMOs as big as they are and as dangerous as the creatures that inhabit the world are I would like to see mounts that live up to what the world has to offer.
• The nodes system is really something that stands out in this game. But I would love to see as much freedom as it can be in the game. By thay I mean that players can pvp everyone whenever they want. Pve players have some instanced stuff like raids. I think bith pvp and pve must be mixed together in a right way and that is going to be hard thing to do for developers. People can use flying mounts but this should be limited. I mean only really dedicated players can obtain a dragon. It would be nice to see in game taiming the beasts like tigers and dragons.
• - Graphics - cant stand the eastern MMO graphics anymore
- World Design
• Currently I am the most excited to see how classes system works and how it is about your pet/mount growing. Also city rising is very interesing part, wow. Steven and his team have a lot of good ideas, I cannot wait to see all of those.
• Random world events and mysteries. Also the very-low drop chance dragon egg from world mobs is pretty exciting.
