Quests:
1. Quest log on the right doesn’t look user friendly (many words, small text):
- The description kind of repeats: it could have been “Process the oak at the woodcutting station”
- Instead of the quest description “Are we safe in Lionhold?” it could have been “Talk to [name of npc]”
2. Quests don’t really guide you to the next step.
You have to figure it out yourself (which is not bad if that’s the scope, but I feel most players want more intuitive steps or an easy “go there -> do that”).
3. Quest descriptions should be from a third person perspective,
rather than a first person. There seems to be a combination of both. (They should all be “Go do that” instead of “I need to go do that”.
4. Npc voice lines seem to be recorded on headphones microphone
Some voices are too loud, other too quiet and the quality is not that good, but I get that this is the last step in the creation of the game, just wanted to point it out.
Game Quality:
1. The position threshold to cut down trees for example is small
I feel like I should be able to press the "cut down” button and if I’m too far from the tree, it should reposition me closer. Right now you have to get really close and personal with the tree for the ‘cut’ option to appear.
2. For NPCs instead of the interaction circle, it could also highlight their name,
to make it clearer who you’re talking to
to something like this
3. Increase text size setting.
It seems that the text increases size only by making the UI bigger, but I wish to keep the UI the same size while increasing the text size
Ranger Archetype:
1. Running animation while not attacking
should be the same animation that is used when attacking (with the right hand on the bowstring) OR the “not in fight” animation should put the bow away (on the back?)
'Not in fight animation':
'In fight animation':
Misc:
Slate Wolf death sound (the screeching sound) is the exact same as the sound used in Metin2 for wolf deaths.
