Alts should not be getting XP Boosts.
Different characters are different characters.
If you want to trade items and Glint between your characters for free - that's a great boost right there.

Also - it's supposed to be 100 hours tp Level 25 with the expectation of about 4 hours of gameplay per day, so... Level 18 in less than 2 weeks when focused on one character is pretty good. And great if you've been dabbling with Alts already.

Phase 1 is for stability testing - it's not intended to support optimal gameplay for the testers to race to Level 25.

You are completely right Dygz, game give u enough tools to boost character already without needing an XP boost, ty for your Knowledge instead of just saying NO with no fundament like everyone else,

ew no. you are supposed to stay in one char and use the community to get things you cant get yourself.
exp boosts for alts can be highly abused for artisan professions and other stuff

    Hopefully not.
Most people never listen. They are just waiting on you to quit making noise so they can.

You already get an XP boost, it's called knowledge.

    This is an awful idea.

it is doomed to be a grindy game, be ready for mindless farmy grinds just like in any other fantasy mmo, this game is not special, learn it asap

Intrepid is not alt friendly at all, there are no systems that help training alts, no boosts, no xp injectors, no xp transfers, no xp split, no transference of any kind

To be honest, I would agree in splitting my xp with my alts even if its just a slice of the pie and even if there's a bit of a penalty on top of it.... OR at least split the xp and transfer to the alts up to level 20 tops. Yes, the main would train much much slower, almost cumbersome
PvE means: A handful of coins and a bag of boredom.

TBH, there is nothing you could get easier on an ALT instead of ur main character, but i respect your way of thinking

well there is. some classes can be better for hunting, for example. or if you need to go deep inside a cave to mine some specific ore, a higher level char would have an easier time, so with an exp boost, you are getting to that point much easier and faster.

it doesn't take that long to level up right now anyways. it takes about 30 hours to get to 20 and another 30 to get to 25

Ok, so if it doesn't take long to level up, then what's the difference?

See, I might have my opinions on some of the original points, but some of the arguments brought up against them don't make sense to me, either.

As for the gathering: Regardless how convenient you make the game, nobody will even have the time (much less the willpower to grind up every profession.

The only thing I wouldn't mind seeing for making alts a little easier in this game is some kind of shared bank between characters. That way I could hand gear down easier after I've outgrown it. Besides that, no

I don't think xp boosts have any place in a game like this.
