Corruption question

What stops someone who is corrupted from just letting a friend kill them. Have that friend loot their body and then give back their items back to them?

    Would you not be a better friend to help them work off the corruption then killing them?
    Lost xp and gear damage could be costly.
    Most people never listen. They are just waiting on you to quit making noise so they can.

    Killed by a player is how you can also remove Corruption. Having a friend kill you and loot you and give you back your items, would be playing the game in a way its not intended. The devs moved my question to bug report and they may think there is something to explore here.
