Spawn rate of copper

This has got to be less then 1%.
I have run around halcyon, Winstead and miraleth. In the 1.5hrs of searching, i found exactly 1 node, to the 500 iron nodes. I understand iron is locked behind levels. but why is copper so necessary, yet impossible to find. this is just pushing people away from trying to level professions as hours of searching gives 0 xp or progress. so wastes time, enjoyement, and passion

My theory is riverlands is a rare ore biome and since we dontbhave other biomes it gonna be rough for a bit

When server starts up I find heaps of copper but then all I can find is the t2 stuff

I thought I was going crazy. I found 1 copper ore in like 2 ish hours of playing and just assumed it was because there are so many people playing that I wasn't going to find any unless I camped a node. Glad to know that it's just copper that's the issue.
