Can't authenticate in launcher

When trying to log into the launcher, I keep receiving a username/password error.
This is despite being able to log in fine on the forums, and login fine online using the same details.
I am stuck in a circular trap of clicking forgot password, inputting my email, it saying the email/username can't be found, and unfortunately, not able to proceed any furher.
Anyone got any ideas?
