Where can I store my materials?

Hey I got the caravan quest near Samia's Hope which is asking me to gather 60 wood and 60 stone. The problem is I don't think I can carry all of that at once. Where can I drop my materials in the meantime? I tried the storage point in Samia's hope but even under the "materials" section I couldn't drag and drop my materials into any of the available tabs.

I'm feeling quite lost ngl.

    I'm getting the hang of it. Go out get bags. get a shirt, get a gathering scroll. You need to invest in the process, and it will take time.
