CRITICAL: Node Storage Deletes Items

As we know, users must regularly log out and in for things to begin working again, such as NPCs loading or the ability to loot. If a player is unaware of this unnamed bug occurring, and if in that time they use node storage and place anything in it, take anything out, or move anything within, those items will be permanently deleted upon relog. There is no indication of this background bug occurring.
Placing something into storage or taking it out causes severe consequences, such as all of a user's rare copper being deleted immediately prior to them getting ready to use it to make an apprentice tool and continue testing... hint hint.
A system must exist to check if a user is truly connected to the server properly. In this broken state, client-side items are deleted if moved from their bag that the server expects them to be in. The sever seems to trust that the item was moved from that spot but not that it has been moved to another spot, and so it vanishes. This inventory data should be logged server-side and not trust conflicting user information. Terrible bug that bring users back days in their testing.
