Why do only humanoids drop complete gear piece? Please reconsider

I know the drop system isn't in its final state, especially given all the missing components of the artisan system. However, the artisan capabilities are so far behind (on Vyra, we are still missing some T2 stations so not all level 10 gear can be made, and T3 stations for level 20 gear will be exponentially later, and likely not all even before Dec 20th wipe).
This means the only way to get gear is through drops. The fact that only humanoids drop complete pieces severely limits the amount of good grind spots, and makes some dungeons much less desirable than others due to simply not being able to get gear from there.
This feels like an unintended consequence, and really funnels players in specific areas instead of spreading them out through the Riverlands. Please consider having all mob types have the possibility of drop types, albeit at a lower rate if need be, at least for these early test phases where the artisan system is lagging so far behind/is not feature complete. Thanks!

or just farm the humanoids. i dont see why thats such a horrible problem.
Me neither and that's the point. Either it's a stop-gap measure and all mobs should drop it to spread it evenly, or none at all IMO. Don't really understand the rationale for the current situation.
their rationale is humanoids make and wear gear. full stop thats it. lol
None at all would kill the game. A long time ago a game called Horizons - Empire of Istaria, tried that, crafted gear only. It was a nightmare. The game released in 2003 and was sold off by 2005. To it's credit Istaria still exists as a nich game but with under 5K players across all servers. I think Ashes is shooting for higher than that.
The addition of town market places and possibly having more quests or building reputation with NPC groups rewarding some level of finished gear should make the situation far better.
In my opinion they're dropping too much tho. It's just a balancing task but it's pretty much nullifying crafting atm.
That also being said mob dropped gear should be limited to white of normal mobs and like green off named mobs anything higher should be crafted.
Since named mobs drop the items and recipe used to craft there not a whole lot of reason for them to drop the item itself atleast not as commonly as it does
