Mailboxes in Nodes

I understand that we can't send any items, etc. across the world from the mailboxes, but please consider letting us send stuff that can only be picked up from the same mailbox.
It would be a quality-of-life thing instead of using a 3rd party.

Just in case you haven´t seen the wiki page about that yet:

Raw gatherables and materials are not able to be mailed by players.[2][3][4]
Purchases of anything other than materials and gatherables from integrated auction houses will be mailed to the purchaser.[5]
Social messages sent via mail will be received instantly.[2]
It hasn't been decided whether crafted items such as gear will be able to be sent via mail.[2]

From an item standpoint obviously we can't allow mailing to include any type of resource material or raw gatherable because those are central to the gameplay and transiting through the caravan system and economic regions. But it may be possible to send completed crafted items like gear, equipment, stuff like that. But it's something we're still discussing.[2] – Steven Sharif

I was aware of the current rule, so I posted a suggestion that would be a compromise with bullet point one. Sure, being able to mail crafted gear anywhere would be nice, but the original post would solve so much more. More of a holding station.

I totally love the ideea - especially if it coudl be implemented before a guild bank.
Allow mailing of anything to anyone (like trading) while the sender and receiver interact with same node mailbox.
