Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

Mayors and Flying Mounts

Hello everyone,
Recently noticed a player say something interesting on discord:
"seen a few mayors flying around picking up copper among other things
also killed a mayor's mount and he... immediately summoned another one and flew off, cause god forbid his armor gets scratched".
What grabbed my attention is:
1- flying around and picking up
2- the amount of flying mounts available for mayors (as described it's at least 2 mounts)
And I thought:
1- flying and picking up things isnt fair for players since it appears to be flying around at top speed and POV.
while my question remains "HOW does intrepid plan on fixing this since people aren't too happy?"
2- how cheap is the mount? even for a mayor? or is it a mayoral freebie? and HOW could he still summon another flying if a player killed his first flying? isn't the player in combat technically?
Obviously for my main question to both players and devs.
How Would/Do you plan on balancing such thing?
for players: Is YOUR mayoral guild a zerg guild? or did it become one? or did they really work hard as a proper non zerg community/guild?

Mayor's can be mayors, but that wont mean they cant be displaced, sieged or even have their economy ruined regardless of the choice.
