group level difference xp gain (power leveling)
Daggial
Since the last change "Adjusted experience formulas to reduce the effectiveness of power leveling" was introduced:
Our highest member, tank who is lvl 22, doesn't want to play with the others who are 18-20 because he doesn't want to hinder them.
I played on a lvl 9 character last night, and was grouping with a couple friends who were lvl 10/11. They got to 12 before I got to 10. It was miserable, specially once they hit the higher level while i was still reaching lvl 10.
The xp change is not preventing boosting, it's breaking groups apart.
There shouldn't be any difference in xp gain, at least in smaller gaps like 4-5 levels difference.

I agree, I think it's too much and it's a little sad that the lowest level player gets the least exp. You already feel "unwanted" when you have the lowest level in a group, now even more so.

yes - it was bad change promoting antisocial gameplay

The grouping did feel bad.
HOWEVER, I was a few levels below in my last group of the weekend. It still went faster because the higher level Fighters just killed stuff faster, pulls were better coordinated, and overall it was a more knowledgeable/skilled group than I was used to. Pay attention to how much XP/hr, you are getting and not XP/mob. It's pretty easy to kill mobs 25% faster with the right higher level players.
