Bard thoughts : lvl 15

I just started playing this last weekend and so far I've only really played the bard. First and foremost, I enjoy the concept and the play is engaging, at least at lower levels. The multiple layers of choices brings a change from the norm. That being said, the choices are mostly artificial at this point.
Resonant Weapon - I really enjoy the idea of controlling your debuffs\healing and it's very useful for increasing damage while grinding. Unfortunantly with Pensive Melody being so overwhelmingly useful in group play, there other choices are basically just for solo.
Quick Wit, Fierce Wit, and Monologue give an exciting thought for a damage skill, but you end up using the healing function of it and just auto-attacking while you sustain your way through killing the mobs. The single target dps and mana cost just isn't near enough to make it as useful as an instant HoT while solo or in group.
Nimble Dance, Marionette, Anthem of Alacrity, and Clever Retort are all too situational to waste limited hotbar space (reachable space).
Wonder (magic power +10%)\Triumph (10% max health + block chance))\Destiny (Phys crit +15%)\Chaos (magical critical chance +15%)\Joy (+10% of YOUR temporary health) are some cool buffs in concept, but when used for the Saga are really underwhelming. You'd have to sacrifice using Chaos\Destiny for 60-90s to setup a far too weak effect.
I've not yet played with Song Mastery Dissonance\Harmony but it looks interesting though likely too complex for most players to be efficient. A toggle -repeat, or a queue for these may help, but then it may not need it.
I would really enjoy getting some meaningful variations in here. I'd like to see clear numbers for each spell while picking and explanations of what armor to wear, what type of weapon, whether you should stay with all magic weapons or mix physical, or really, what those do to your ability output.
Note, the melodies randomly stop working without rhyme or reason.
You can frequently not meditate if you're playing one, though you can cancel it and then sit, and THEN cast it
Finally, to smooth out gameplay, I would very much love to have my character continue autoattacking a mob that is attacking me when my primary target dies. Retargetting automatically
From this wall of text you'd think I didn't enjoy my play time, but I really did and look forward to playing it more!
