Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

Loot drops for Under 3 level difference feels Horrible.

its really immersion breaking to think that once im 3 levels over something or greater.... things drop less stuff than when i was at their level... i want to feel stronger with progression, be able to go back to what i struggled against, and farm it with my hard earned powers. Balance the game around this, not a nerf when you out level the content.

in a game that's 85% gear powered, the ability to out level your drop items is a very real problem.

    From what i've heard, completed items are dropping much higher than intended atm because Artisan isn't fully online (and is expected to be by far the central source for gear).

    regardless of gear, say you need to farm glint for money so you can repair and craft, things your own level may be to hard for you as you got bad RNG gear drops. but now because there is a system in place that makes loot lesser or even not at all for low level content, you become bricked.

    It really feels bad if you want to go back and farm a low level item/recipe or something.

    most gear will be coming from artisans, not from mobs. This is only temp until artisan/crafting is fully functional.

    Glint isn't affected by levels currently nor will that be the source for income anyways - caravan will be.

    i will say level difference needs to atleast be bumped at to 5 level different this like the typical level range difference thats allowed in most MMO's seem to allow before penalty take place

    Steven confirmed the 3 level difference was a bug introduced when they intended to tweak XP. Should be addressed for next weekend.

    You need glint to buy the player commodities to do a caravan.
