Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

During the Alpha 2 Test: Observations on the Tank Class

I extensively played the Tank class and observed that the aggro system is exceedingly strong. I have never experienced such an easy-to-handle Tank in my entire MMORPG career. It's almost boring for me, as there's hardly anything I need to pay attention to. There was never a critical situation where I lost aggro, even against higher-level players.
Overpowered Taunt Ability
In my opinion, the Taunt ability is excessively overpowered. Once cast, I could practically go AFK, as my Tank never loses aggro on the enemy—I actually tested this frequently with my guild. The other skills are similarly potent in terms of aggro generation.
Shield Dash Range Limitation
However, the shield dash could benefit from a longer range; compared to other skill ranges, it is significantly limited.
Hit Feedback and Attack Feel
The abilities themselves feel good, but the hit feedback could be improved. The attacks feel like striking a piece of paper with a sword—that definitely needs refinement.
High Repair Costs
Additionally, the repair costs are high, but this is a common drawback inherent to such a class.
Suggestions for Improvement

- Increase Defense, Especially Magical Defense: The defense could also be slightly increased, especially magical defense.
- Introduce a Shield Skill Tree: It would be desirable to introduce a shield skill tree where the shield can be leveled up like all other weapons.
- Add a Parry Function or Reduce Stamina Consumption for Blocking: Perhaps a parry function could be added, or the possibility for blocking to consume even less stamina.
