STREAMER Server

Good evening everyone,

I am Writing here because i hope that we can get Streamer Servers for the Release From Ashes of Creation.
there are many good Reason why i think its Better for the normal Players AND the streamer to have there own Server.

1. Keeping Streamers "Save"
As we saw with the Asmongold incident there will always be Trolls who will do everything to harass some Streamer.
Even if its not killing him there will be groups of People just following them around an stealing all Farm spots or gatherable items. Like streamer wants to gather iron and boom there are 10 idiots running around him and just looting everything.
You cant realy ban them for this but the streamer can never test crafting this way.
If there was a Server dedicatet for Streamers with 100-500 choosen "fans" this will not happen.

2. Streamers killing servers "unwanted"
As we saw it in New world first Release there are streamers with there big comunities who are filling holw servers or at least 80% or so. then you got MANY players who dodge this servers to not get into this mess.
Problem is the moment the Streamer Goes offline 90% of the Fanbois are leaving too because they want to be there the next day the streamer goes online again.
Or bigger problem the streamer quits the game after 2-3 weeks (Ths will happen a lot since most streamer only try to get the hype from release and jumping to the next game release later to get this hype too). Then the server will be instanly dead because 95% of the fanbois are quitting too.

New world realy showed how bad it is when such big Communities are overrunning small servers for a small amount of time just to quit after.
But New world realy made a good thing with the 2nd Release when there were Server dedicated for Streamer and there communities. And Ashes is a perfekt game to make this happen too.
Let there be a server filled with 50 BIG streamer and 200-1200 Community Members (Perfekt Number for 4 guild under 1 streamer with 50 or 300 Per guild). They could fight for the Nodes and world bosses.
This way the "Normal" Servers dont have the problem that 50% of the Population Quits oder the weekend after some big streamer lost interest in the game, and the Streamers dont have the Problem that there will be 1000 People running behind them and harassing them for "fun".

So maybe intreprit should Talk to streamers and Talking to them like "If you want to open more than 1 Guild or even 5-10 Guilds you will Play on this Server xy Where normal players cant join without an Invitation.

Not necessary, Steven has already sad that none of the griefing countermeasures are in place right now.
Also, nothing is stopping streamers from playing on non-streamer servers in the first place. 100-500 people really?

Creating special servers whether its for streamers, pve only players, pvp players, roleplayers, lifeskillers or anyone else, just segregates the community, in a genre that is already seen as hard to get into and even harder to make games for.

It's only phase 1 right now, no need to overreact anytime the game gets some negative press.

There is always the nuclear option...

Allow players to be nude when they remove armor.

I have been on the forefront of saying that I don't want myself and ingame achievements that I have to pay for in my free time to be reduced to a streamer show asset to push around for their show, especially without consent or payment while they get paid for it. This sounds to me like a two-class game, where normal players have to pay time and money for being involuntary side characters in passing by streaming circus shows. Ultimately meaning, this would be first and foremost a game for streamers, not for normal players.

That being said: I am VERY aware that I am on the extreme end with my perspective. It does not mean I want to ban streamers, it does not mean I hate them or that I don't want them to allowed on Verra. What I would like is an OLDSCHOOL gaming experience, where all the people around me are paying to play with nothing else to gain but ingame fun. What I would like is a server where there just are no recording tools allowed besides the ones Intrepid uses to monitor. I am in the minority here, I respect that everyone else may just be fine with "going with the time", I personally would prefer to be left alone with that and just hang out with those who are there to play for playing sakesand nothing else.
The answer is probably >>> HERE <<<
  • Any regulations regarding big streamers would be welcome. Not holding my breath though.

After the wipe for phase 2 they should just pout a tag on a server (streamers) and try and funnel most of them on that server would be a good PR server tbh since steven can do events there to showcase the came better and do the whole police griefing streamer there if he want by simply banning users who are a hole from that one server

and who doesnt wanna see the streamer battle royal to see what streamer guild comes out on top hahaha

A streamer server is a no brainer if you ask me.
