Deployable camp sites

So I was thinking while I was out grinding with the team about how many rations we where carrying and had a thought about how it would be nice to have a more expensive deployable camp site that could last for like 30 min or something that the whole party could use. Possibly tie it to a artisan skill like tailoring or something or make it just a proportionally more expensive option to buying several hundred rations every time you go out to farm. Plus it would add a immersive RP item for those that might want to do that. I prolly wouldn't tie it to any kind of power gain like cooking food but just a way to regen. I suppose there's a lot of things that could be done with something like that.

Not sure if its something that has already been discussed but I just had the thought and figured i would share it. -Cheers!

i think stocking up on supplies is part of the immersion. i dont really see a need for a tent to provide rations. rations for one are not dropped when you die and two, you have a lot of bag space to carry stacks with you.

However the deployable tent thats link to a profession is a cool idea, but not for the sake of getting rations imo

maybe as a temporary buff giver. "Sharpen your weapons before battle" kinda thing

While I don't hate the idea, I don't want to see it implemented.

I agree that part of the game is being prepared for the long journies ahead of you. Hence no fast travel.

If they were to have some sort of camp, I think it'd need to be bought using lots of supplies.

That's kind of what I was getting at, it would be something that would be an alternative type of preparation for a group and make it proportionally more expensive so that instead of everyone buying just a ton of rations before they left town, instead they could invest in a campsite that would be more expensive/higher value craft as a different option that could service the whole group.

I can get behind this then. My only other concern is it would end up like new world...

...camp sites as far as the eye can see...

On second thought, I don't want it lol.

I would say it would need like a 30min expire timer or something so its an expendable and doesn't clutter the world

It's a good idea especially for a full group of people. Craftable, limited use, limited time duration.

A high cost, high convenience sort of item.
