Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

New Mage Spell Proposal

Hello there!
Wanted to propose a new spell for the Mage. As we've learned in the past, there will be a re-work of the class and thought what a great time to talk about new spells, so this is my submission.
I would like to propose a spell which imbues a melee weapon's reach. As we know, weapons aren't exclusive to classes. And we also know that the Mage isn't really a melee class at all, so it has the least to benefit to using one. My idea is that we could use Ice, Fire, or Lightning magic to imbue the melee weapon to strike a target at a further distance than what would normally be for the base weapon reach. Depending on the spell used would also be a secondary effect, much like Bleed is used in other games. This could potentially be used with other classes of magic which come later such as Mysticism, Illusion, Thaumaturgy etc.
I would love to hear other ideas to bounce off of this proposal, among other magic you guys would like to see added or developed down the road.

It should just be a base Mage skill to spec into since all classes can use all weapons to varying degrees. But if you wanted something specific then probably a Warrior secondary
