Rare/named monsters

Hey i'm oppening this discution for those who like to explore the world in quest for the rarest monsters kinda like hunting for pokemons in a way.

I think it could be great if rare monsters could appears in random locations and random timers. Those monsters when killed could give mounts/pets/mounts or pet skills/ rare ressources for craft ...

This way the game will never fill boring because no matter where you are you have this "quest" in your mind and the possiblity to get something extremly rare that very few player already have.

Please join the discution and tell me about what and how you would like rare monsters to be implements in AOC.

    they already have named mob spawns, I've seen one drop a mount you can only get from that named mob

    Yeah there are tons of named bosses in every zone!

    Yeah, you can find them already. They'll generally have stars on the nameplate to indicate they're special in some way.

    that's not true, the stars are just elite mobs, different from named mobs

    Named mobs tend to also be elites though. The ones I've seen so far have been both, other than ones that just exist for quests like Ted.

    I guess if they are more non-elite named mobs than elite ones later on I wouldn't know. I haven't been able to put much time in these past few weekends to level up significantly

    They seem to typical have the same spawns though sadly, like the bloodied (Wolf named spawn always west of hayclona it seems) Would be if each wolf spawn spot had like a 0.01% chance to spawn as a named variant so u never know where he gonna turn up and it a surprise and a reward when it does or a potential accident when ur in rythm of pulling mobs over and over then suddenly u accidently pulled a much stronged mob than u were expecting cause it respawned as a named one

    Wow great they already have something like that ! I hope they keep on going on that aspect ! Like noing that you can have "unique" abilitys, skins mounts ... by playing the game en encountering rare things is great.

    Even rare pnj could be super great like in the same idea of the rare monster but this is a pnj giving a funy quest to learn an emote or something like that.
