Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

Corruption on killing purple player

Hello, I just killed a purple flagged player plus their horse and recived tier 3 corruption + 11 blight for that (I had 0 blight before). It made me drop pretty much all my gear on death and reset me to zero. https://streamable.com/tgz45p I have a longer version of this clip too if needed. Would hope for a fix and maybe some compensation since this threw me back by days. :(

    @Kikoo if you review that footage you didn't turn corrupted until you killed the horse. AFAIK mounts don't turn purple, players do, so you killed a "green" by being purple (mount) which by the chart makes you corrupt.

    So... mounts should turn purple with their respective owners. Otherwise people would just bait you into killing their mount, then disengaging, only to come back and kill you with no consequence.

    There is also another thing to keep in mind, if you aoe a non combatant (aka a non flagged player) and it dies you will also get corruption, there is meant to be an option for this eventually but it is not currently a thing.

    I totally agree with you, this is a serious problem.

    @apocrisy You can see that the mount was showing as purple with an icon next to it's name. And nothing explains why the mount alone gave me 11 blight and tier 3 corruption.
