We were having fun until some non-flagged players got into the mix, and of course I accidentally killed someone's horse with an auto-attack and went red. Died, dropped 3 good items. This punishment is insane. I don't even recall killing anyone else who wasn't flagged, but evidently I had enough "bad credit" to be corrupt. When I flag I need a way to avoid damaging people who aren't flagged vs those who are, otherwise griefers will simply exploit the system and cause people to 'go red.' Additionally, dropping up to 3 items instantly when you go red for killing someone's mount is ridiculous. Way too punishing. Why even have a system like this, where you try to flag up to have some mutual pvp fun and griefers can exploit it in a way that is clearly not intended or fun? But mainly, the consequences are much too hash as they stand. I can kill a couple of mounts, and go red and lose 3 pieces of gear. That's absurd.

Just this evening there was a level 10 running around the starting area picking off anyone that just lost their pvp protection buff. Killed me without an issue (level 7). He went full red and I did not release and just watched. After looting me, he ran around full red for a minute, then it cleared and he went white. No punishment at all. Guards didn't care... and off to his next victim. That wasn't pvp, that was just straight up griefing low level players in the starting area.
