Inability to use caravan feature while in a party with guildmates

Description
While in a party (group), guildmates and I could not open the caravan menu to select attack or defend.
Bug Reproduction Steps
Party up in a group with two or more guildmates and get within range of a caravan raft or wagon.
Expected Result
When the caravan menu appears, be allowed to select attack or defend.
Bug Report - Actual Result
The Caravan menu did not show attack or defend options. Dropping party resolved the issue.
