More Ranger Feedback

I feel the Ranger doesn't feel as good as some of the other starting classes. I've noticed Ranger's ability costs more mana but does less damage than a mage. I suggested giving Ranger a new ability called " Quick Shot" that has 3 charges and an 8 sec cooldown. Similar to the mage "Firebolt". They also need to reduce the mana cost by 25% or change one of the marks so it lasts like 2 minutes and they give back mana per hit on anyone that hit the target. Speaking of Marks, it would be a lot easier if they made Raven last longer but nerf it a bit. I understand it is powerful but its setup for burst could be in line with a debuff for the group/raid to use instead of a 6-second window for the ranger to do massive damage with barrage/ Lightning reload/ Barrage. Hence they could nerf it by say 50% but make it last longer and have it benefit the group somehow. This would give us the sustain and the regen for a support/ DPS archetype. Scatter shots pushback needs to go away or make it an option for one of the passives to choose from. Headshot needs a passive so you can use it off GCD and instant, either a proc off a status effect or another ability. Snipe Feels good but again uses too much mana for the amount of damage it does. These suggestions are based on what I saw during my 2 weekends playing this class. Currently, Mages, Clerics, and fighters tend to out-DPS the Ranger.
Again this is my opinion I highly welcome feedback on these suggestions whether you agree or disagree.
