Suggested change for Player Loot Flagging

I suggest changing the flagging system for players looting other players to a two (2) timer system, lets call them the "witness" and "victim" timers.

Witness - The looter is flagged for (t) minutes and that flag is only applies to players that have a direct line of sight to the looting. Alternatively, if that is too complicated, perhaps in a (x) area around the location of the crime.

Victim - The looter is flagged for (T) minutes for the victim only. It is a longer timer to reflect the victim recognising their gear. It also provides them some time to a) return to the scene of the crime and b) try and track down the perp.

An example to these times might be...
  • t = 5 minutes
  • T = 20 minutes

    To add...

I'd like either a text message or a journal log of the names of people that have looted our ashes in pve.

When we release and anyone can loot our ashes, and it being sometimes several minutes before we can get back to our ashes... Chances of knowing who looted us is a complete mystery. There are often times I get back and a dozen people are flagged in the area. I can't tell who I should be revenging-on.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, if someone sees you looting a corpse they also get flagged?

    that's how I'm reading that

If you were referring to my post, no you read it wrong. The looter is flagged so those that see it happen can engage them without fear of going corrupted.
